Eight Picks For Your NCAA Saturday

· Virginia Tech (-7) at Virginia - Seems low. VaTech’s Miami loss was ugly, but the only spread they haven’t covered was a gaudy 35.5 against Marshall. They still won by 27 - PICK! VATECH -7
· Ohio State (-3) at Michigan - Too much love for the home team/rivalry angle. Michigan can’t get their shit together, and OSU has explosive playmakers. All Buckeyes - PICK! OSU -3
· Vanderbilt (+12) at Tennessee - Tennessee’s offense is terrible, what makes you think these guys can beat anyone by twelve? Not to mention that Tennessee’s 1-7-1 ATS this year - PICK! VANDY +12
· Duke (+21.5) at North Carolina - We’re picking this for no other reason than to giggle at Duke’s football ineptitude. 1-9 overall, 0-9 ATS. Can’t play these guys with the points - PICK! NORTH CAROLINA -21.5
· Missouri (+2) at Kansas State - You’re telling us the “Bill Snyder farewell” angle is worth something like four points to KSU? Missouri’s better, is playing to get a decent bowl invite, and KSU is dead in the water. Please. PICK! MISSOURI +2
· Utah (+10) at Brigham Young - Can’t get away from this game in the Beehive State, and Utah can’t live without their top QB and WR against the Cougars. Pains us to make this pick, we can’t stand BYU - PICK! BYU -10
· Alabama (+7) at Auburn - Alabama falls from the ranks of the unbeaten in a nailbiter last week, and this week faces a team ranked lower in the polls and is getting a touchdown. Bama might still lose, but it’s not going to be by seven - PICK! ALABAMA +7
· Fresno State (+23.5) at USC - We had Cal covering versus the Trojans last week. We were wrong. This is the last chance for Bush and Leinart to impress Heisman voters, so they’ll be keyed up. We wouldn’t be surprised if USC wins by 40 - PICK! USC -23.5
