Best Line: PITT -14, OHIO +14.5, O/U 47.5

If past performance is any indicator of what’s going to happen tonight, Ohio is in for a rough game. Against the spread across their last six they’ve rung up the donut. Zero spread wins. They couldn’t even cover against lowly Central Florida last November, when gifted with a -1.5 line. Ludicrous. Pitt, on the other hand, has been soundly outclassed in total yardage in its last ten, including last week’s Notre Dame debacle. Then again, they’re 6-4 straight up in those games and 5-5 against the spread.

What Pittsburgh has in spades is experience. Despite last week’s trouncing by the Irish, this is still Tyler Palko’s team (probable with that hand injury), and this is still the same program that got killed by Utah in a BCS bowl last year. So what are they doing with only two touchdowns on the line in their favor? This looks like a classic mismatch, easy pickings, and we’re comfortable figuring the greater of the predatory felines (Panthers versus Bobcats after all) will take this one in a walk.

PICK!: PITT -14
