NBA Finals: Riding Rip Hamilton’s Nose Mask
filed under Sports Betting : NBA
After the Detroit Pistons predictably dismantled the San Antonio Spurs in game 3 of the NBA Finals Tuesday night, there are now wishful feelings that, perhaps, tonight’s 9 p.m. game on ABC (and the rest of the series) will be more interesting than attending the Canadian small and medium business conference for three hours. One would hope. Detroit comes into the home game trailing the series 2-1, but 3 1/2 favorites thanks to their lanky, plastic-masked guard Rip Hamilton, who scored 24 points in Tuesday night’s victory. Bookmakers knocked off one point from the spread even though Spurs’ zesty Argentinian guard Manu Ginobili is slated to be healthy after injuring his thigh and being shut down in Game 3. Oddjack is not-so-boldly predicting that Ginobili’s return plus a rejuvenated Pistons will make this game a little more high scoring than the 171.5 over/under line. Be ready to cash in and buy that new weed wacker just in time for Father’s Day.
