Chopping Lines: Beware of the Riled Up Wolverine

Michigan Wolverines (1-0)
at
Notre Dame Fighting Irish (1-0)
Why is everybody so disappointed in Michigan? Sure they gave up some points to the Northern Illinois Mulletheads or whatever they’re called, but it seems like too many people are thinking Notre Dame is going to steamroll this team waaay too easily. 7 points is probably too much to give the Irish and Charlie Weis’ surprisingly potent offense. But what if Lloyd Carr did reshuffle his defense and fix its problems? And can Notre Dame bet this underrated? Do they instantly become a top 10 team if they win this? Most likely. However, we love a shoot-out kind of game and see this maybe ending up a push for the Wolverines. And after ND upset the Wolverines the past two years at Ann Arbor this has all the skid-markings of a classic payback stomp.
PICK!: MICH -7
