Plain and simple, Mayweather feels Pacquiao doesn’t deserve a date with him yet.
Yes, you read it here, Floyd Mayweather is after all, the best pound for pound fighter in the world and Manny Pacquiao STILL has a lot to prove to earn a date with Money May.
In case you haven’t heard, Manny Pacquiao is now desperate in getting in the ring with Mayweather primarily because the guy needs a fighter with Mayweather’s talent to solidify his career.
Unlike all those other jobbers that Bob Arum has been throwing in Pacquiao’s way, Mayweather is THE best in the world and Pacquiao knows a fight with a guy like that will make his career.
Oh, and in case there are still some of you who are still in doubt whether
Mayweather actually is the best in the world at what he does, well, ESPN already proclaimed him as such, giving him the title as the Fighter of the Year.
Yep, the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. beat the biggest joke in boxing, that’s Many Pacquiao as “Fighter of the Year” in the recently concluded annual ESPN awards held at the Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
The ESPY Awards is an annual awards event created and broadcast by American cable television network ESPN to celebrate their legacy as a sport channel. Athletic awards are given as well. Begun in 1993 , the event confers eponymous awards, fully styled as Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards , for individual and team athletic achievement and other sports-related performance during the calendar year preceding a given ceremony, according to Wikipedia.
Mayweather got his award for “Best Fighter ESPY Award” (Fighter of the Year…)

After the way Mayweather punished Mosley over the weekend, I won’t be surprised if Pacquiao continues to avoid the pound for pound king.
You read it, pound for pound champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. silenced Manny Pacquiao, his people and all the dumb critics who question Mayweather’s ability inside the ring by simply punishing Shane Mosley over the weekend in Las Vegas.
Granted, Sugar Shane Mosley got the upper hand early on the fight when he had Mayweather reeling in the second round but much to the dismay of Mosley, Mayweather came back like a champion. He tighten up his defense a little bit and began to wail down on Mosley like a hyena.
Mayweather’s record now stands at 41-0 with wins over Juan Manuel Marquez and Sugar Shane Mosley since coming out of retirement. The question now on everyone’s mind is when will Mayweather face Manny Pacquiao and rid the world of this third world moron?
For what it’s worth, Manny Pacquiao claims he is now willing to take the drug tests, the same drug tests he vehemently refused to take when they still had people setting up a fight between him and Mayweather.
So how come he’s saying that he is now willing to be tested for drugs? Easy. He wants the spotlight and with Mayweather systematically annihilating Mosley last Saturday, Pacquiao HAS TO do something to put the spotlight back on him, even though we all know that the third world faggot will turn away from the drug tests anyway once…

Provided Pacquiao can rid his name of drug allegations.
Talks of a Manny Pacquiao – Floyd Mayweather fight has begun with the two sides discussing a mega-fight between the third world moron and the reigning pound for pound champion.
Yes, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is still the pound for pound champion in boxing since nobody has beaten him yet. As far as Manny Pacquiao is concerned, he’s just a guy who hits hard, nothing more, nothing less.
According to some rumors, Richard Schaefer, the
CEO of Golden Boy Promotions who handles Floyd Mayweather Jr., flew to Las Vegas to discuss the fight with Bob Arum of Top Rank. No further details were given.
Manny Pacquiao is coming off the latest in what has been a string of fluke victories for the biggest joke in boxing since Hashim Rahman, with a victory over WBO Welterweight champion Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas.
The win secured Pacquiao his seventh title in as many weight classes, a boxing record, although there are rumors that claim Pacquiao is taking performance enhancing drugs to gain that edge over his opponent inside the ring.
As for the reigning pound for pound champ Floyd Mayweather…

And he proved just that over the weekend when he dominated Juan Manuel Marquez for the full 12-round fight.
It was a display of greatness as Floyd Mayweather Jr., despite the two-year absence from the ring, showed just how good he still is by simply dominating Juan Manuel Marquez at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas last Saturday.
In the Floyd Mayweather Jr. – Juan Manuel Marquez fight last weekend, Mayweather proved why he is still considered by many as the best, pound for pound fighter in the world as he extended his undefeated record to an astounding 40-0. Wow.
And while Manny Pacquiao and his fans have unofficially claimed that title for themselves, (go figure…) Mayweather accomplished something last Saturday that Pacquiao was unable to in two attempts, earn a convincing win over Marquez after winning the bout via unanimous decision.
You see, Juan Manuel Marquez is Pacquiao’s kryptonite. For some reason, Marquez has been that one guy who can take everything Pacquiao throws. Marquez showed just that in his first meeting with Pacquiao when he recovered from the early knock down to ALMOST win it. The fight ended with a controversial draw although I personally thought Marquez should’ve won it.
Mayweather, on the other hand, didn’t give Marquez…

And he doesn’t mind being the underdog this Saturday.
We have quite a busy night this Saturday, on one end, we have UFC 103 where Rich Franklin will take on the returning Vitor Belfort with both trying to salvage what’s left of their careers, on the other end we have the highly anticipated Floyd Mayweather Jr. – Juan Manuel Marquez fight where we’ll see the return of the best pound for pound fighter in the world taking on one of the best fighters to come out of Mexico.
Yep, it should be one helluva show alright and as far as the best pound for pound fighter in the world is concerned, Floyd Mayweather Jr. knows that, at 39-0, it’s still his throne until somebody takes it away from him.
However, as daunting as facing a man with an undefeated record is, Juan Manuel Marquez ain’t fazed one bit. Marquez knows that he’s facing arguably the best fighter in boxing today, and him moving up two weight classes just to be in the same ring with Mayweather, he knows too that he’s coming in as the heavy underdog.
Still, he’s looking to shock the world.
”I think that life is full of surprises,” Marquez said through an interpreter. ”This is what motivates me. This is what makes me train hard. When I wake up in the morning, it makes me want to train harder, run faster and longer. These are the kind of fights that motivate me. I’m going to prove everybody wrong.”
”By far, I feel he’s the best. He’s undefeated. He retired, and he’s still considered to be the best pound for pound in my eyes and in a lot of people’s eyes.”
”It’s a very hard fight, but mentally I’m preparing…”

Saturday night will be a very busy night and as far as Dana White is concerned, he wants to be the premiere attraction.
In case you don’t know it yet, UFC 103 will be this Saturday when Rich ”Ace” Franklin fights Vitor Belfort as both MMA fighters try to salvage what’s left of their UFC career.
However, there’s this one little sporting event happening on the exact same time that Rich Franklin and Vitor Belfort will hop inside the Octagon. It turns out that Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Juan Manuel Marquez are also scheduled to be in a ring this Saturday, and as expected, UFC president Dana White doesn’t like it one bit.
”Boxing is doing it to you again,” Dana White said on a newly released video from the UFC. ”They’re giving you the fight that you don’t want. Nobody asked for this fight with
Mayweather and, what’s his name? What’s his name? Nobody even knows.”
Um… It’s Juan Manuel Marquez, and the entire nation of Mexico knows.
Of course, we can’t blame Dana White for feeling the way he feels about the whole thing. Rich Franklin is one of his major draws in the UFC and for a showboater like Floyd Mayweather trying to overshadow the UFC boss in what was suppose to be a huge Saturday payday is frustrating.
At least the guy’s still trying to woo you into watching this Rich Frankin – Vitor Belfort fight this Saturday, trying to rationalize why you should tune in to UFC 103 instead of the scheduled Mayweather – Marquez bout..
”On that same night, on that UFC card, you guys can all tune in and you can watch not one fight, you guys can watch five great fights that night for ten dollars less than what Floyd wants you to pay to see him run around in circles, and lay on the ropes, and move around and not fight.”
I have this feeling that the fight will be settled not in…

Who’s your pick?
In case you didn’t know, the highly anticipated return of the pound for pound best fighter in the world is set on September 19 when we’ll have the Floyd Mayweather Jr. – Juan Manuel Marquez fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Yep, the king’s return to boxing is now official as Floyd Mayweather Jr. returns to the ring with an undefeated streak no one has been close to stopping.
Of course, Juan Manuel Marquez is no pushover and the fiery Mexican is looking to put an abrupt end to Marquez’ comeback.
Dubbed as ”Number One / Numero Uno,” both Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Juan Manuel Marquez are looking to win on the 19th of September to get a shot at Manny Pacquiao. Apparently, both feel that this third world joke has gone on long enough and it is about time to finally put an end to it all.
The problem is, Miguel Cotto could accomplish the deed even before any of these guys can get the opportunity to…

Being that guy to save boxing from third world retardation is at stake.
WBA and WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez faces the biggest and toughest fight of his career when he faces Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Yep, beating a guy like Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a tall order indeed since the guy, technically, is still the best pound for pound fighter in the world since nobody has beaten him yet. STILL, Juan Manuel Marquez is confident he will beat the undefeated pound-for-pound champion when it’s time to lace up the gloves.
Marquez has maintained that he is planning to upset the boxing world when he steps into the ring with ‘Money’ Mayweather, that’s despite the fact that he is clearly disadvantaged
in the upcoming bout as Mayweather stands two inches taller with a five-inch reach advantage.
The fight is also scheduled to be fought at a catch-weight of 143 pounds, a comfortable weight for Mayweather, but less so for Marquez who is a natural super-featherweight (130 pound maximum) and has only had two fights at lightweight (135 pound maximum).
Mayweather, the former five-division champ, hasn’t stepped into the ring since knocking out Ricky Hatton in December 2007, when he was still basking in his victory over Oscar De La Hoya. Since then, he has been cashing in on his ”Money” moniker, showing up everywhere from ”Dancing with the Stars” to WrestleMania.
Marquez (50-4-1, 37 KOs) lost a slugfest by close…

Just when you’re all hyped up for the fight, this happens.
For all ya’ll looking forward to the scheduled Floyd Mayweather Jr. – Juan Manuel Marquez fight on July 18, I guess you would have to wait a little longer.
It turns out that the bout is now postponed after Floyd Mayweather Jr. suffered a rib injury in training last week, forcing him to delay his highly anticipated return to boxing. You see, he was happy with the way he ended his career until Manny Pacquiao decided to desecrate the sport with his antics. He decided to return to boxing in hopes of finally putting an end to it and reestablish himself as the true no.1 pound for pound fighter in the world.
In order for him to do that, he needs to beat Juan Manuel Marquez first. The winner will end up with a fight against Manny Pacquiao.
Unfortunately, with the rib injury to Mayweather, that opportunity would first have to wait and understandably, the pound for pound king ain’t happy.
”I am extremely disappointed that this fight has to be postponed,” Floyd Mayweather Jr. (39-0, 25 KOs) said in a statement. ”I was training very hard and looking forward to getting back in the ring.”
According to Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer, Mayweather tried to work through the injury but just couldn’t because of the pain.
”It was very painful,” Schaefer said. ”I don’t know the extent…”

Before he beats the crap out of Manny Pacquiao.
Six-time world champion in five weight divisions, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has returned to boxing, hoping to be the guy who’ll save boxing from the mediocrity Manny Pacquiao has enslaved the sport with.
Although he had a long hiatus from the squared circle, Floyd Mayweather is confident in putting his undefeated record on the line when he faces the dangerous and highly touted five-time world champion in three divisions, Juan Manuel Marquez.
This Floyd Mayweather Jr. – Juan Manuel Marquez fight, dubbed as ”Number One/Numero Uno” is scheduled on July 18 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The summer showdown between Mayweather (39-0, 25 KO’s) and Marquez (50-4-1, 37 KO’s) will be promoted by Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions in association with Marquez Promotions.
Whoever wins this one will have a crack at Manny ”The Pacman” Pacquiao. And having a shot at the third world retard was more than enough for Mayweather to…
