We’re only DAYS AWAY from the latest tennis tournament on clay.
And for all ya’ll who didn’t get that, I’m talking about the 2008 French Open at Roland Garros. The French Open is considered to be the most physically demanding tennis tournament in the world. It will run from May 25 to June 8 in one of the most romantic cities in the world, Paris.
The French Open is second of the Grand Slam tournaments on the annual tennis calendar and the premier clay court tennis tournament in the world. It is one of the most prestigious events in tennis and around 15 thousand tennis aficionados have already booked their seats to see the live action.
Both the men’s and women’s French Open defending champions for the singles event are vying for a fourth consecutive victory.
Men’s division’s defending French Open champion, Rafael Nadal, and his female counterpart, Belgian Justine Henin will try to mark their names into French Open history if they succeed in winning the French Open crown for the fourth straight time. Only the legendary Bjorn Borg and Suzanne Lenglen, with four consecutive titles apiece, stand firmly in the way of the current champions.
Tennis players like Pete Sampras, who won fourteen Grand Slam singles titles…

Bonjour tennis fans! (I’ve always wanted to say that…)
The 2008 French Open at Roland Garros will kick start from May 25 through June 8 in Paris, France, at the Stade de Roland Garros.
It is the second of the Grand Slam tournaments on the annual tennis calendar and the premier clay court tennis tournament in the world.
The French Open is one of the most prestigious events in tennis because of the slow playing clay surface and the five-set men’s singles matches without a tie break in the final set.
It is considered to be the most physically demanding tennis tournament in the world.
The Tournoi de Roland-Garros, commonly known as the French Open, is played on clay courts that usually slows down the ball and produces a high bounce compared to grass or hard courts.
The French Open championship is also the title that has prevented female players like Lindsay Davenport, Maria Sharapova, and Martina Hingis from achieving career Grand Slams.
Three time French Open champion Rafael Nadal and Belgian Justine Henin banner the…

It’s Russian Roulette at the Australian Open people and boy, do we have two gorgeous chicks for ya’ll on this one.
Two Russian sex goddesses, Maria Sharapova and Elena Vesnina, will be competing in the third round of the 2008 WTA Australian Open tennis championships after both chicks easily went past their respective second round rivals.
First, the hot and sexy Maria Sharapova. She had a tough test early at Melbourne Park when she found herself in the middle of a match with Lindsay Davenport in the second round.
This was one of those
matches that the people were eagerly anticipating for. Unfortunately for them, it was not even close. Maria Sharapova simply dominated the veteran, beating Lindsay Davenport in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3, to reach round number three against fellow Russian Elena Vesnina.
Riding from the momentum fueled by her strong comeback after becoming a new mom, Lindsay Davenport collided with a brick wall as she saw her latest comeback bid end swiftly.
”From the day I found out, I started working for this game,” Maria Sharapova said of the draw. ”I approached it like it’s a final.”
Yep, Sharapova sure looked like she was preparing for this very match for a looong time. Heck, she was so dominant that the crowd in attendance couldn’t help but to feel sorry for Sharapova’s opponent across the…

That’s why we’ll probably be keeping our fingers crossed and hope that Sharapova knocks Davenport out.
That’s probably the biggest matchup we have in the 2008 WTA Australian Open tennis tournament. Well, ANY match that Maria Sharapova gets herself into is BIG because we don’t want to see the sexy Russian sex goddess take an early exit in the first grandslam of the year.
And yep, the hot and sexy Maria Sharapova will be taking on Lindsay Davenport. And while Sharapova probably will kick Davenport’s ass in our sexy-meter here on OddJack, sad to say, the same can’t be said on the tennis courts.
Maria Sharapova knows that she’s
into one tough tennis match with Lindsay Davenport. Seeing Davenport skulking so early in her draw might have caused a more fragile player to hide under the bed, but if Sharapova was cursing her bad luck, she hid it well.
”If I can’t beat them in the second round, I can’t beat them at all,” she said.
Maria Sharapova might not be thinking the way she is now if she hadn’t ended last year on an upbeat note, charging to the finals of the year-end tennis championships in Real Madrid against No.1 Justine Henin.
Sure, Henin outlasted her in a brutally long…

Oh yes, Maria Sharapova opens up the latest tournament at Melbourne Park with a win.
And just because Sharapova is really the only reason why we watch the 2008 Australian Open tennis tournament at Melbourne Park, we are, of course, delighted to see the lovely Russian sex goddess move on.
The hot and sexy Maria Sharapova did it in emphatic fashion too, taking care of Yugoslavian born, Jelena Kostanic Tosic in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3. Yes, unfortunately for this Yugoslavian we probably don’t care who, she never even had a chance.
Sharapova’s win earned her a second round
match with Lindsay Davenport after she also took care of her first round encounter with Italy’s Sara Errani, winning 6-2, 3-6, 7-5.
Defending Australian Open champion, Serena Williams, and world No.1 Justine Henin, also got past the first round of the 2008 Australian Open as they should while third seed Jelena Jankovic barely avoided a huge upset.
Serena Williams sailed past Australian qualifier Jarmila Gajdosova 6-3, 6-3 in just over an hour, but was below her best as she began her quest for a 9th Grand Slam title.
”I think everyone could probably tell…”

Yep, Maria Sharapova will be taking part in the last grand slam of the tennis calendar.
For all ya’ll who didn’t know, the hot and sexy Maria Sharapova is not all legs, tits and ass. She is the defending champion coming to the 2007 U.S. Open and she is one of the heavy favorites to win the last grand slam of the tennis calendar year.
Sharapova will be coming in the 2007 U.S. Open with five other U.S. Open women’s champions. Of course, all five of them will be gunning to take the defending champion out and when that happens, majority of the male population will all be cursing at the very individual who did just that. Probably.
Joining Maria Sharapova at the 2007 U.S. Open are the likes of Venus and Serena Williams, Justin Henin, Svetlana Kuznetsova and Martina Hingis.
Yep, Martina Hingis is back again despite her poor showing in this year’s Wimbledon Championships. I hope she’ll be staying longer this time around. I know I know, she’s not THAT hot compared to the screaming Russian sex goddess but there’s something about her that… uh… never mind.
Originally, the top 100 women were invited to play in the 2007 U.S. Open as they represent 34 different countries in…

Yep, it has been a damn long time since we last saw that.
Americans are no longer kings of tennis. Ever since Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi walked away from the game, stars from the international circuit began to come out with the likes of Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova and of course, Roger Federer dominating the sport as we know it today.
Of course, you can expect some of these guys at the 2007 French Open final in no time too.
Waaay back in 1978, Nick Bollettieri founded his tennis academy before
coming up with the foundation of a clay dynasty eight years later. Since then, Americans like Agassi, Monica Seles, Jim Courier and Mary Pierce were feared on every single tennis court, especially in probably the greatest clay-court tourney in the world. Yep, I’m talking about the French Open at Roland Garros.
”It’s dirt-ball, baby, dirt-ball, baby,” Bollettieri explains with customary vigor from his Bradenton office. ”Give them rackets, they’ll beat the shit out of each other and…”

She got leeegs, she knows how to use ‘em.
Fantasy hot legs to pin me down and give me some rough lovin’: Stacy Keibler.
Without a doubt. Basic Instinct 2 may be a fucking stink bomb but I haven’t lost my faith in killer babes exposing killer legs, thanks to Stacy.
Those who don’t know her are missing a lot. A whole lot of mileage, to be exact: this wrestling diva for
World Wrestling Entertainment’s RAW is infamous for her drool-inviting legs measuring 42 1/2 inches (105 cm) long.
‘Super Stacy’ – once nicknamed ‘Miss Hancock’, and ‘Skye’ as a Nitro Girl – can sure Hancock me anytime. Not only is her hooot bod total ecStacy, she is reputed to have the longest legs in sports TV. How true? We’re about to find out.
Certainly, in the whole wide world of celebrities, Stacy ain’t the tallest at 5′11” (108 cm).
Supermodels alone will crush her in this arena – Jodie Kidd is 6′1”; Jerry Hall and Elle McPherson are 6′; Gisele Bundchen, Shalom Harlow, Grace Jones, Melania Knauss (aka Mrs. Donald Trump), Rebecca Romijn (aka Mystique), Claudia Schiffer, and…

Can you feel the multi-orgasmic thrill of that line?
I certainly do. Maria Sharapova is quite clearly, the sexiest woman in tennis today, following where former tennis hottie, Anna Kournikova, left off.
It was April last year when Sharapova was listed by People Magazine as among the 50 most beautiful celebrities in the world. In June of the same year, Ms. Sharapova was listed by Forbes magazine (what’s Forbes have to do with our precious sex fantasy?!?) as the highest-paid female
athlete in the world.
Sharapova earns a whopping $18 million annually. A significant portion of those came from her oh-can-I-get-in-your-panties endorsements.
Now, our favorite puss… Er… ”Tennis player,” (I use the term ever so slightly) graces the pages of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue. And boy, was it as hot as ever.
(Although I still prefer Ms. Stacy Keibler’s explosion in the same magazine last year. Long legs like that really gets me a boner.)
Sharapova’s stint in this edition of Sports Illustrated is her first in the magazine’s swimsuit issue. She follows the footsteps of fellow tennis players Serena and Venus Williams. I don’t know how those two got there but they just looked like King Kong’s bitches to me.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I love…

The Philadelphia Inquirer today poses an interesting piece of imaginative pseudo-journalism by projecting what might happen if certain sports entities were to merge with others. While the NBA bringing the three-point shot to NHL rinks is a colossally bad idea, and a WWE-influenced flair for the dramatic couldn’t possibly help us enjoy tennis more [...]
