In case you’ve been living under a rock lately, the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints will collide this Sunday in Miami, Florida where we’ll see which of these two teams will be crowned the Super Bowl XLIV champions.

Who will take the big one? Let’s look at the Indianapolis Colts, who have already recorded their most single-season wins in franchise history with 16. In case you didn’t know, Tim Tebow will be in Super Bowl XLIV in Miami, Florida even before he officially gets drafted to the NFL.

Confused? Don’t be. It’s just about this little 30-second TV spot for Tim Tebow during the CBS broadcast of the Super Bowl. And since Florida will host the Super Bowl this year, you shouldn’t be surprised to see only one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever come from Florida in the state’s take on the NFL’s annual extravaganza.

The 30-second TV ad will feature the former Florida Gators quarterback and his mother Pam. Tebow and his mother will share one of their many personal family – affirming stories, one of which could be her decision to carry him to term despite a life-threatening pregnancy in the Philippines where she and her husband Bob were serving as Christian missionaries.

You read it, doctors advised Pam to have an abortion or risk a life-threatening pregnancy. Pam chose the latter and nine months later, she gave birth to Tim Tebow who later became a Heisman Trophy winner, a BCS national champion and one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play college football.

The TV ad is produced by the Colorado Springs – based ministry, Focus on the Family.

The future stars of the 2010 NFL Draft class will take the field for the 61^st Under Armour Senior Bowl on Saturday January 30, 2010. This will give them NFL scouts an opportunity to evaluate these talents further and finally decide who’ll be that one guy who can finally save their godforsaken franchise.

One of the players to watch out is Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow. Tebow accepted the challenge to play in the Under Armour Senior Bowl by officially accepting an invitation to the senior showcase event.

Aside from Tebow, three other signal callers will participate in the Under Armour Senior Bowl. Oregon State’s Sean Canfield, Central Michigan’s Dan LeFevour and Cincinnati’s Tony Pike have all accepted invitations to the 2010 game.

Sean Canfield earned first team All-Pac-10 honors his senior season after throwing for 3,271 yards and 21 touchdowns. His 251.6 passing yards per game was tops in the Pac-10 and he ranked second in the league in passing efficiency at 141.9. In what has now become an annual tradition in the NFL, football fans will once again wait for Favre’s decision on whether he’ll walk away from football and retire or if he’ll give it another shot once we crown another champion at Super Bowl XLIV.

That was pretty draining. I am going to go home, a couple of days and just talk it over with the family.”

In case you didn’t know, Brett Favre has been contemplating on retirement for years. Heck, the guy ALREADY RETIRED, TWICE, but decided to come back anyway. He came back to play for the New York Jets after his first retirement then retired again after missing the playoffs only to come back last August to play for the Minnesota Vikings.

For the first time ever, the Pro Bowl will come a week before THE big game, as this year’s Pro Bowl kicks off Super Bowl week with a bang.

Yes, the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl will now come before the Super Bowl and this year, the best players from both the AFC and the NFC will play at Dolphin Stadium in Miami, Florida for this year’s annual showcase of the league’s premiere talent.

This way, football fans will be able to further build their anticipation heading to Super Bowl XLIV and as far as this year’s Pro Bowl starters are concerned, both teams’ rosters have some familiar faces.

Leading the pack for the AFC squad is Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning. Other selections include Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson, Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson and Colts teammate Reggie Wayne.

Dallas Clark, who also plays for the Indianapolis Colts, was also voted in for the Pro Bowl to play tight end, starting tackles will be the Dolphins’ Jake Long and the Broncos’ Ryan Clady. Starting guards for the AFC will be the Patriots’ Logan Mankins and Alan Faneca of the New York Jets.

In case you missed it, the New Orleans Saints probably convinced Brett Favre to finally call it quits with the way they’ve been putting the guy on the ground all game long en route to their 31-28 win in overtime to earn the trip to Super Bowl XLIV in Miami, Florida.

Yep, the New Orleans Saints put the hurt on Brett Favre alright, as the Vikings quarterback NEVER felt comfortable inside the pocket all day long. To make matters worse, the way the Vikings have been turning the ball over didn’t help.

Coach Rex Ryan said the New York Jets should be the favorites to win every single game they play in the postseason and they certainly made a point in their last two playoff games. But can these guys keep it going against arguably THE team to beat in the AFC the last few years?

Yup, Mark Sanchez and the rest of the Jets are going to take on Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts with the winner earning the ticket to Super Bowl XLIV at Dolphins, Stadium in Miami, Florida. Can the Jets keep this Cinderella run they’ve been having?

Rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez, who completed 12 of 15 passes for 182 yards and a touchdown in the Jets’ wildcard playoff win over the Bengals, had another stellar performance in their playoff win over the heavy favorites San Diego Chargers.
