That was a much-anticipated battle of two undefeated teams. The Trojans and the Sooners were no.1 and no.2 respectively and the dream match-up between these two teams to decide the NCAA pigskin kings that year surely was just that, a dream match-up.

In the upcoming NCAA Football season, expect the Oklahoma Sooners and the South Carolina Trojans to pick up where they left off.
